Happy June!
We over at Dreamwidth HQ are having a rest-and-recuperation week:
mark and
janinedog are on an "unplugged" trip to celebrate their first anniversary, and
sarah and I took a long-weekend honeymoon that ate into my ability to get anything done this week. (Poor
fu has to deal with both her bosses wandering off just when she's really hitting her stride! In case I haven't mentioned it lately, we <3 Afuna.)
So, since the majority of this week's work was all revolving around collating feedback on the update page redesign, and beginning work on version 2.0 of the mockup, we don't have much to report. So that you don't think we've fallen off the face of the earth, I thought I'd make a quick-hit weekly update to thank everyone for all their feedback on the update redesign -- all of which was incredibly constructive and helpful!
A reminder, too, that June is the Clean Up The Little Stuff Hackathon. If you've been thinking about getting involved in Dreamwidth development, this would be a great time! (Come to the dark side, we have cookies.) And, if you have a small fix of your own to suggest, tell Support if you think something's broken (not working the way it was designed to work), and tell Suggestions if you think something could be better (is working the way it was designed to work, but you'd like that way to change).
(Also, if you don't know the difference, don't worry -- ask support first, and they will steer you in the right direction. They are friendly and helpful people who want to make your Dreamwidth experience better -- and they, too, are people just like you, so if you're interested in pitching in there, they'd love to have you.)
We'll be back next week -- in which it is
fu's turn to write the weekly update -- with more details about what's going on around the place.
