Tomorrow morning's Seed Account sale

Our second batch of 100 Seed Accounts will be going on sale at 9AM EDT (1PM GMT) -- we've scripted that, since neither mark nor I will be awake for it, so consider this your warning dw_news post!

Something I forgot to mention in the last dw_news post: if you previously had paid time, and you purchase a Seed Account in this sale, you can open up a support request in the Account Payments category, and we're happy to transfer your paid time to another account for you.

And thanks, everyone, for supporting Dreamwidth. We couldn't be doing this without you.

I'm not seeing the seed account option on the shop/buy paid account page - did this go wrong?

Noting that I tried at 1pm GMT sharp, and spent 5 minutes retrying/refreshing, without any luck whatsoever.

Check this thread from the previous post - sounds as if you have to click Premium Account and put your name in, then it goes to another page... Good luck!

No, re-read that - it says to click on "buy paid account for $user", then there should be a "seed account" option on page with the radio buttons for the "premium paid"/"paid" options - and there wasn't, and isn't, at least not for me/visible.

It's not 9am EDT yet, so maybe the timezone conversion in the post is wrong?

They obviously meant GMT proper, as opposed to BST (British Summer Time).

It still isn't 1pm GMT. It's 13:54 BST now, so still 5 minutes or so shy of 1pm GMT (which is 2pm BST).
