Weekly Update: 28 December 2009
Hi all, this week will be really short as I'm currently stuck in a hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah because of a bad experience with Delta Air Lines. I was originally going to be home at a reasonable time this evening and have time to write the update -- but now, we are here, and I have to get some sleep (five hours now) so I can get up and try to get home tomorrow. (And hope our baggage shows up somewhere.)
Just a reminder, if you're intending on taking advantage of the holiday promotion (buy 6 months of paid time for someone else, get 2 months for yourself), you should do that soon. It ends when 2010 starts (UTC), so that's a little over two days from now.
We have setup the latest posts feed with a Yuletide feed, for those of you in fandom or interested in this event:
http://www.dreamwidth.org/latest?feed=yuletide
If you tag your entries with the appropriate tags (f.ex., yuletide) it will show up in that feed. (Assuming that you allow your posts to show up in the latest posts feed and they're public.)
Our support team would like me to remind people that if you run into anything weird with your account or usage of the site -- things that are broken, don't seem right, don't work, or work in a way you don't expect, you can let them know. They're happy to investigate these issues and work with developers to fix them.

Development has been very quiet this week, too. A few things have been done but not much. We'll start to pick up steam as we go into January, and we'll be back at full pace by the end of the month. (Remember, Denise and I are going to be flying to New Zealand for LCA2010, so mid-January is a little busy for us too.)
Otherwise, I hope all of you are having a good day. Wish me luck getting home... I'd like to see my puppies again (and my baggage).

Thank you for the update, though! Despite hardship, you still manage to let us know what's going on, and that is amazing.
