GMT is not London time. GMT is GMT. London is on British Summer Time or something, I don't know. It's up to you to convert from GMT (also called UTC, if that helps you any) to your local time!

EDT is Eastern time in the summer, EST is Eastern time in the winter. So EST is GMT-5, and EDT is GMT-4.
