I have some talking points about KOSA -- that applied to the Senate version of the bill and the House version is a little different, but the "a site cannot treat adults and minors differently without deanonymizing and age-verifying every single one of their users, and that's unconstitutional" part is just a fundamental failure with every single one of these laws. We established this 30 years ago, people! Mandatory identity verification to access a site chills an unacceptable amount of protected speech! It's not even close to being an unsettled question! But of course since these laws don't come out and say that you need to perform identity verification, just age verification, states (and the Senate) think they can pull a fast one. There is no way to verify age without verifying identity! it cannot be done! Arrrgh.

Sorry. I just get so incredibly frustrated at the transparently pretextual bullshit sometimes.
