Putting aside the many, many other issues - I don't do all my web browsing in a situation where a face-scanner is going to have an easy time. If I'm waiting for the bus under those awful astronomy-safe orange streetlights? If I'm in bed with the lights out? If I have my back to the sun so it's pointing directly into the device camera?
