Yeah, we were hoping it wouldn't get to the point of passing, and if it did that Newsom wouldn't sign it into law, but that was probably too much to ask for a "think of the children" type bill in an election year, sigh. But that's why I jumped at the opportunity to provide a declaration when they offered it to us, because like, come on, if we can't comply with your law, it's a really terrible law. (Not that we're perfect! But let's face it, when it comes to data privacy, we're definitely really far over on the "not evil" side, for multiple ideological reasons but also because being evil takes effort, and we are old and tired.)
