what would be most useful that could be done by someone who, although not familiar with LJ fork specifically, is fairly well versed in perl.... but unfortunately, although not having a job, is also limited due to disabilities (good days vs bad ones, plus support for disabled spouse)- iow very irregular hours of availability, sometimes with long stretches where I cant do much followed by the reverse.

I know there are old things to take care of, but also things tumblr people are clamouring for, so to help retain the influx of these users and the paid accounts that may translate into, it seems to me that some balance between deleing with both the old and new things might be needed? TBH I like tackling new things if that'd be of use, but I wouldn't say no to working on older stuff either.
