I think it's why they chose to add 'presenting' rather than just 'female nipples', since presentation is generally visually easier to determine than the gender identity of the people who own those nipples. So in the hypothetical scenario you mention, I think those would be considered female-presenting nipples, even if they may not be female nipples if the person didn't identify as a woman.
