I feel the same way. Sometimes I'll read some essay or meta that someone wrote, and it's like, woah, a really good argument, well thought out and put together, but mostly it's a sea of over-generalizations that quickly devolve into fights and stanning. It's exhausting, and wicked hard to curate my feed so that I don't end up wading into fandom drama.
