Oh, whoops, hope I didn't screw things up by going ahead and doing the OpenID thing. I attempted to avoid some of the potential duplicates by first going through my (soon to be deleted anyway) LJ account and deleting all the posts that *didn't* have comments on them (these were already backed up on DW). I did that prior to clicking the link that agreed to the OpenID, and was hoping that this would make it so only the posts with comments would be moved over to my Dreamwidth account. I thought that , this way, I could just go back through the DW blog and delete the duplicate ones that I'd manually copied and pasted before. I know this is a really round about way of going about it, though, and maybe it won't work like I was hoping it would. Sorry for being both confused and confusing!
