With the huge mess of people dragging the political into things that aren't political and vice-versa, it's definitely been nice. While I'm sure there's plenty of room for people to have their political leanings spilled out on dreamwidth, I've been enjoying it as a place that is actually mostly free of it - it's been extremely refreshing because the site itself is an open platform and a blank space. Having other sites (social media or otherwise) constantly being bombarded by far-left or far-right ideologies has been frustrating and stupid.

Kudos to you!! Here's hoping the RP community keeps buying paids and keeps hanging out - I know I'll be here as long as possible, for sure.
