But it's a field that's intended to be useful info, thus it being "Name." Whether people use it for that or not is up to them. I'm sure people with screenreaders also may wish to know what to call the person they are responding to. Right now they'd have to open up a profile page and check the name box (and then profile, if the name box isn't filled in) - which would be even more time-consuming, wouldn't it? Especially if the name box actually *is* filled.

Basically, it seems overly silly to deny many people the useful name info because a few people like to put quotes instead of names. Not everyone uses the description fields correctly either, but yet they exist and can be useful when they do.
