Popping in to reply to myself just so people who are linked to this thread can see it: the frozen subthreads are because I don't think it's right for us to be encouraging discussion of LJ's perceived failings in our news comm. (Discussing general principles of site design and management is one thing, but when it gets to be specific about LJ, I start to get uncomfortable.) I know people are upset and very emotional, but please remember, Dreamwidth could not exist without LJ and we ask that people bring their discussions of LJ to their own journals instead.
