Man, I don't know. The tech I finally got after pitching an unholy fit at the DSL company -- he was very sweet, and I felt bad for screaming at him about two minutes after I did, at which point I took a deep breath and apologized -- told me a horror story about moving to the mountains of British Columbia and it taking six months for his DSL and phone service to work properly.

Perhaps one day, when I am rich and have time to burn, I will start a utilities company that doesn't suck. I don't think there are any out there. (The DSL company used to rock hardcore! That was two buyouts/mergers ago ...)
