This is rather unrelated but I have to share this and you reminded me:

The (big) company I work for blocks Dreamwidth, but not Livejournal for "Social networking".

[I suppose I triggered that by, um, checking whether the news post was up, I am just completely stumped and amused that LJ isn't blocked]
