Hey! Congrats on the decision to take ASL! It is the third most-used language in the US! I am an ASL/English (and sometimes Spanish) interpreter and native ASL user. I write a lot about ASL, interpreting and linguistics in my blog.
Speaking of which, I imported my blog from Lj a week or two ago. All I had to do was read your diversity statement (especially the part about Disabled folks. I use a wheelchair), and I had a paid account in about 2 minutes. Then, I bought an account for a friend of mine. I love it here. Plus, the theme options helped me make my blog more accessible than ever for my Blind and Low vision friends. I am working on an entry explaining the accessible features of my Dreamwidth blog, and after getting feedback from some Blind friends about my attempts, I am also happy to report that a few are now going to try their hands at blogging themselves on Dreamwidth! THANK YOU!
