Which actually brings me to something else I forgot to mention in the post itself -- cyclical renewals! Because of when we launched, we see a major spike in payments in both early May (12-month anniversary of open beta launch) and early November (six-month anniversary of open beta), with a smaller boost in December (holiday giving). So, payments that don't occur in those months also really help. (Paying for a friend, paying for a community, paying for a secondary journal...) The more even our monthly income is, the better we can plan for the future. (I estimate it'll take us about five years for the twice-yearly spike with the holiday boost to even out...)
