We don't have S1, so that doesn't apply to us (and LJ's changes don't sync to here anyway; we have to decide to specifically add them, and then do a lot of work to make it happen, since we've diverged so widely by now). The poster up there was talking about core1, which was the version of S2 that we inherited from LJ (and then fixed up a ton, leading to core2.)
