I've been using https for a while (just by changing my bookmarks) and haven't had any problems. Glad to see this progressing.

I'm one of the (I'm guessing few?) people who use the Don't Autoformat box. So I hope it won't be going away, or that the old entry page will remain an option for those of us who need it.
