Wow, thanks for such a reassuring and helpful post! :)

I've only just migrated over from LJ and of course haven't really found too many people yet, so it's a really lovely idea to allow people to introduce themselves here. :)

My interests are many and varied, but here are some staples:

---

Star Wars -- main focus is on Star Wars as a mythology, the character of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, and on defending and upholding the redemptive message of the Skywalker saga as Lucas told it. In terms of content, my blog covers The Prequels, The Clone Wars, some Star Wars Rebels ad Rogue One material, and, of course, the Original Trilogy. (Unfortunately, I am NOT a fan of TFA or the Disney Sequels, and tend to ignore anything set post-RotJ in that version of 'canon'.)

SW ships include: Anidala, Obitine, Kanera, and Snips and Skyguy (as brotp)

----

Other interests and fandoms include, but are not limited to: Black Sails (haven't actually posted anything about it yet, but may at some point), various and sundry period dramas, literary adaptations, and miniseries, A Song of Ice and Fire, Dunk & Egg, Juliet Marillier, Neil Gaiman, American Gods, old movies, film noir/neo-noir, appreciating beautiful animation, MMFR, Firefly, The Last Unicorn, Jane Eyre, Beauty and the Beast (as in the fairytale itself), Tam Lin, animal bridegroom motifs in folklore, shape-shifting, Tolkien studies, medieval studies, art history, Scandinavia, Yorkshire, folk metal, Warhorns Festival, horses, my wolfdogs (can't help but occasionally post about my fur kids), and more.

Other ships from other fandoms that have a major focus on my blog:

- SanSan (book version *only*!) - one of my oldest fandoms and still a big passion of mine
- Bethyl -- probably THE ship I've written the most fanfic for over the last few years :)
- too many others to name, lol

---

Hope this helps! I'm always interested in engaging in meta discussions on the above (and other) topics, and love nothing more than making deep readings of the 'text'. :)

Thanks again for the welcome. It's lovely to be here. :)
