Thank you Denise!! I kind knew there was something about PayPal and content and all that meant they stopped allowing you to use them, but wasn't clear what, so thanks for that. And I've just turned on the 'test HTTPS everywhere' tickybox, which is the first time I've beta-tested for anything on a site ever. Unless you include my move to DW when it was in its open beta phase, when folks still needed an invite code...

I'd like to make people aware of the incredible [community profile] snowflake_challenge community, which runs a daily challenge during the first fortnight of every New Year. It's for fans - all fans of any and every fandom - and it's seriously good fun, and while it can be really challenging (things like 'rec three of your own works' or 'comment to someone you've never interacted with before' are two examples), it's a really low-pressure thing as you don't have to do everything, and it's also really good because everyone gets to have fun with other people in fandom.
