I have to agree. I'm not at all fannish, but I have a larger number of writers in my circle on DW, so when I post something I'm writing and say "I'd really love feedback on this," I'm a lot more likely to get comments than when I posted on LJ (because there's no way I'm posting any creative content I particularly care about on LJ with their strange and changeable policies on who owns what and what you're allowed to post there).

Of course, that may be because my friends list on LJ is pretty dead and I can barely keep up with the one here.
